I am looking for the height of the subframes off the ground. Mainly in relation to one another. Probably need it in couple locations. Thanks gang!

That might be tough to get a solid number on, the ride height and the rake of stock cars changed throughout production. Sorry I can't help, both my cars have modified suspension.

I have a rear subframe sitting on the ground behind my house right now. It's going to replace my tweaked one this weekend. I can measure stuff about it if you need.

I have subframes out of a car but I didn't take the measurements before removing them, like a dumbass. A lowered car is fine, I just need to figure out the height of the front frame to the rear for a tube chassis.

You can read the body dimensions off the body diagram down the page. The datum is NOT the road surface though. Note the points below the rocker panel area are 2.20 inches, so the datum is above the road surface. You can figure out the relative heights of the sub-frame mounting points from this. The rear frame has a 10 mm rake to it,for example.
The dimensions to points E,O and R appear to be to the end of the frame mounting studs, as far as I can tell, not to the surface the sub-frame sits against.

If the studs at O and R happen to be different lengths that mounting area may be flat and parallel to the road.It would be nice to find the original source of the diagram and enlarge it.

Now I remember where that diagram is from. It's from a Mazda shop manual and I may still have one someplace, if I didn't let it go when I sold my NA SpecMiata. I'll see if I can find it. I may be able to scan the page and email it to you.

Thanks DeadSkunk, that is exactly what I was looking for.

Edit: It is apparently from the back of the shop manual.
