Looking at the spec mx5 suite and noticed the "Ecu flash". There is no information I can find on what exactly this is. Is it an OBD dongle? A program? How's this reflash work? For $350 bucks it's cheap, but there also no details as to what it does in the spec mx5 brochure. Raised limiter? Fatter fuel curve? Timing crossover?

anyone here in spec mx5 or have a contact?

Sigh. Maybe Mazda will tell me, but who do I call? Don't say ghostbusters!

Flis Performance now builds the MX-5 Cup cars. Give 'em a ring. (And tell them that GRM sent you.)

The ecu tune is done by Mazda

considering the engine uses a different crank, pistons and head, I imagine a fair amount of tuning is needed
