I might have an Airheart 7/8” MC on the shelf at home, or it may have been in the box of goodies I gave to another board member (after posting here) when I was cleaning the garage a few months ago.  I can check on Friday.

I’ll check the box if you can’t find it.

I have what I think are a pair of 1" Afco MCs also if nothing else works or you end up needing a bigger bore.

Soaked the 7/8 in pb blaster, and it freed up.

Theres no visible or feel-able pitting or damage in the bore, and the rubber umbrellas are still pliable and do not visually seem damaged. (Yes, i put on my glasses to check. Im turning into a damn t-rex....)

Tilton said that if they were stuck, theyre garbage and should be replaced entirely.

What says the hive?

If the bore feels and looks good, replace the cup (umbrella), lube with a little clean brake fluid or Girling red brake grease and re-assemble it. It will work as good as new for a Tilton.

Yeah, agree with turner.  Also, I checked the garage and I don’t have the MC that I thought I might.  Not sure if it went to Patrick or not.

Rebuilding master cylinders is fairly common.  I've rebuilt them for my motorcycles over the years, without issue.  If it appears to be in decent shape, go for it, as long as you can get the proper rebuild kit.  By the way, how does the fitment on the car look?   Any other issues as far that goes?

Dont know about the car fitment yet. We did Christmas with my family this weekend since we're going to be traveling to the inlaws next weekend for their Christmas.

Hopefully we'll be able to test fit tomorrow, and maybe even bleed it!
