My thoughts on what might be seen this upcoming season (more like, purely speculatory and my fingers are crossed for new options...):

- Successor to RE71R? (although the RE71RS was deemed unlikely to come here, which is ridiculous).  Bridgestone has the RE05D and RE07D and RE11S over in Japan.  Be nice if any of those came here.

- Dunlop Z3 Star Spec?  This would follow their previous tradition.

- New Yokohama Advan Neova? (there's a Neova Concept out there right now).  Not sure how this would fit alongside the A052.

- Perhaps Nitto will finally do something for the laughable NT05, or Toyo for the R1R?

- Will Kumho update V720 or do a clean slate?

- Falken RT660 is basically confirmed.

Anyways, basically just me dreaming.  right now i plan to autocross and hillclimb on the Yoko A052 next season... 255/40/17 on 17x10.

What do you mean basically? David S Wallings said they had already done testing with them (see previous page on this thread)

They're available in SSC size : https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Falken&tireModel=Azenis+RT660&sidewall=Blackwall&partnum=245WR7RT660XL&tab=Sizes

They are still being evaluated and SCC has not switched from the 615k+ at this time.

they are supposed to be evaluated ASAP and then the SEB will make the call on switching the class over to them.

In reply to spacecadet :

Roger! I thought he was meaning as something that was being produced. Yes, there is not confirmation about SSC spec tire atm.
