I used to see a red DMC parked on the street on the North side of Chicago. This was in the mid 90's. Cool cars, they look great in person.

It seems to me that the painted cars look more modern than the stainless ones.
I confess I have always thought the delorean was a gaudy cocaine induced dissapointment. I had no idea of the lotus connection.
Not so nuts about the red. There is a black one out there that I think is dead sexy though:
Pretty sure it was painted by its owner though. The license plate on that car doesn't lie.
BTW there's no evidence John DeLorean was using coke, he just conspired with undercover cops to smuggle it into the U.S. Oops.
I think if I were to ever buy a DMC, I'd have to get this shirt:

If I had one I'd prolly want to paint it after a few months of constantly hearing BTTF comments. Most people probably wouldn't have a clue what it was. Hell, most of them don't even know what my aw11 is.

Speaking of evidence, and other legal concepts, you do know that he was ultimately acquitted, right? It's literally the textbook entrapment case.
A DeLorean purchased from a member of Kittie... How could this not = winning at life?
EDIT: And now, I've found my digital copies of 'SPiT' and 'Until the End'. This will be a good day.

The good thing was that BTTF jokes ended the string of cocaine jokes.
Q: How can you tell it's a DeLorean?
A: It sucks all the white lines off the road.

Someone reuploaded the vid of this beast:

It's in New Hampshire somewhere, judging by the license plate. Shame I've never seen it in person, I'm in NH all the time.
