Sigh.
I hate being chauffeured around.

What is her preferred ride? Also, is it the nature of the Miata or are there attributes of your specific car that she dislikes?

She drives a Grand Prix.
Too low, not comfy enough, apparently. I'll get more specifics.
Is it because the car is dangerous/unsafe, or is she just a b*tch?
Edit: previous post confirms suspicions...
In reply to dculberson:
this, my fiancee has been enjoying the 323 while i've been driving her sonata the past few months (which isn't half bad either, but isn't as spirited as i typically like). She's on me to get the miata up and running again for her to drive.
The OP should have read, "Last girlfriend wouldn't ride in my Miata."
Best case, she's a snob. Worst case she's a control freak. Either way, ditch her.

I would say it's more that she heavily prefers to take her car if we have a choice. She's said that it's cute, but she hates riding in it.
Everybody has their preferences, I suppose.
My girl loves the Miata. Likes driving it to. She thinks it feels "right sized". With the top up it warms up quickly. Doesn't complain about the ride, despite the tire rub and crappy junk coilovers.
She actually said "if you wanted to buy a nicer Miata at grown up prices, I'd be ok with that."
So the beater is getting sold in favor of a nicer example.
My wife loved my Miata when I met her, she'd be up for another at some point. I think the OP needs to go girlfriend shopping again, that was always a fun endeavor when I was single
Tip, show the GF this thread. If she laughs you’ve got hope. If she forbids you from ever visiting GRM again then it’s 100% shopping time. e

Ha. So maybe the answer is still Miata, but "nicer" Miata.
My wife keeps asking when I'm dragging a Miata home instead of another E36 M3ty dead car.
Unless the sex is just amazing, ditch her.
Eh, don't sweat it. After all, you didn't buy the car to impress her, did you? If she doesn't like that car, that's her perogative. If you don't like being chauffeured, do you have the option of driving her car when you guys go out?
My wife likes my Miata(s) and always has, but only on warm sunny days. Any other time, she'd prefer to leave it at home. Truth be told, I don't argue on that as I typically prefer to drive it top down myself.
