Well, I figured it was about time that I signed up for this forum. I tend to read the magazine quite a bit on the toilet at another member's house (cxhb). Besides, I was getting a bit annoyed with the e-thuggery on local forums. Anyways, my name is Brennan if you couldn't already tell. I'm from the Cincinnati, Ohio area and drive a Nissan 240sx. Um.. Basics about it.. It used to be a drag car, I bought it as a shell and put an RB25DET in it and i'm in the midst of working out all of the kinks. I should be moving onto suspension this winter with it if I have the time and money. I'm really interested in Autocross/Time attack junk. I've done 3-4 small track days close to where I live, nothing fancy. That about sums me up really, I just figured I'd post a small intro. I have a blog of progress on my car if anyone is interested. http://brennannn.blogspot.com/

Welcome and good choice on the 240SX. My parents have owned their since 1991. They still won't sell it to me.

Ahh, the 240sx. Like the last-gen supra, i was seriously considering buying one RIGHT up until they exploded in popularity.

Still great cars! Glad to here you're doing something LESS common than SR20.

Welcome!

I feel like the RB swap is going to explode on the scene big time soon unfortunately, but mostly just the 20 swap considering it's dirt cheap.

I've always thought the 1995-1996 240SX in a dark color could be a Jaguar. The shape has real grace to it. I test drove one years ago and really liked it as a nice coupe. Too much for me at the time, my Golf was the more practical choice. This was before drifting was invented, so it was only expensive because it was still relatively new :)

Yeah, I have been falling for third gen 240's lately. I didn't see too many of them in Michigan, but now that I am in the south, I see them nearly daily...

Welcome ;)

A friend of a friend has an S14 with an RB26 swap for a track car. With a sizeable single turbo it paces C6 Z06s at the track. Good luck with your build!

Welcome to the funny farm! You'll fit right in.

Every so often I get the itch to find a 240SX coupe and build an IT car out of it.

No doubt. It's probably the last totally stock 240SX left on the planet. It's the first year for the 16 valve. It's a five-speed, too. No, I have dibs on it.

Congrats! My buddy and I were among the first people in the states to start doing RB swaps into 240s about 9 years ago. They are still several of them running around the NW to this day that we swapped. Its such a great chassis/engine combo, I remember cruising down the freeway and not having to touch the shifter to pass people, just stab the gas watch the boost/speed build! I love the way those motors rev and make power!
