Found this - challenge-friendly price, but I'm thinking vintage racer. I pick it up this Saturday.

Yep - more or less a michelotti body wrapped around a TR3

This pleases me.
One of my favorite cars. Talked to a guy last winter about his, but it had been sitting in a field in Indiana for years. It sounded too bad even to go look at...
Your battery box looks decent so hopefully that's a good sign rust-wise.
I had a '67 4A in college in the mid '80's. I loved it! Of course I had to do a monthly nut and bolt, and it is still the only car I've ever owned where people would randomly drive up beside me and comment that pieces of my car were falling off!
It sounded awesome and great torque, I miss it still.
Lower edge of the passenger fender has a golf-ball sized rust spot. Surface rust on the frame and the left front fender will need a little work - that's it on the rust. Floors are solid - it's been indoors most of its life.
and yes, that is a hole for a starter crank. Some of the 61s had the radiator with the hole where you could actually use a crank. I've also heard it's a good idea to drag a magnet behind you so you don't lose the parts that fall off.
