There is a difference between Chevy rims and Jaguar rims even with the same bolt pattern. The Chevy hub is about an 1/8th of an inch smaller then the Jaguar. So if you use Chevy wheels you'll have to spend a couple of hours on a lathe to keep the wheels centered.
Frankly call up to Wisconsin* for the XJS with the right back spacing wheels. They are also 16"x7" Yours are 15"x 6"
I happen to have a set of those wheels on my XJS
The nice thing about the Jaguar rims is you get a Jaguar hubcap. And the Jaguar lug nuts look right

Are those 5 x 4.75?
I don't know anything about gm wheels except some share bolt pattern with Jaguar for awhile until Jag switched to 5x108. And Jag hub is on the large side.
The Jag hub is about an 1/8th of an inch smaller than Chevy hub.

Intarwebs disagrees, and you just mentioned that chevy was smaller above.... Did you maybe flip those around? All jag hubs on the 5x4.75 pattern from 63-03 are 74.1mm. GM's are 70.3mm

Correct... about 0.149". Since the bolt pattern is the same, he could skip the hubcentric accuracy and just hog them out a bit with a carbide flush cut bit in a router.

My source for Jaguar parts is Strandberg Auto in Centuria Wisconsin. 1-800-448-5121
Lacking that go to Car-parts
Maybe we can work something out? I have 5 The tires on it are Continental 225/55ZR 16. While they are totally aged out. You can try them to ensure they don't rub etc.

That's a possibility, though I don't know the next time I will be up your way. Perhaps I need to schedule a road trip!

Drive up one day stay here overnight drive home the next. Although. You really should schedule a day to tour Strandberg Auto. See what Jaguar toys they have for sale.
