But what's this under the hood???????
Doesn't look like an old monster FE to me.... it also doesn't look horribly uncomfortable either.... love the red kill button

I mean, It looks cool but 529K for a electric daytona chassis. Man, I just don't see it. I mean long term how are they going to meet crash standards with this? Battery capability needs to be much much higher before we can look at Electric cars as an alternative. We should be able to go 400-600 miles on a charge. That would make it to where electric cars are realistically viable option for a single car family.
Screw that, I'd rather have an old high rpm 289 with stacks under that hood
Also, you could build 26 Factory 5 type65's for that much money......
Well overpriced. I don't have a problem with the range, when I did the math on EV-swapping my Corolla I decided that a range of 30 miles was enough.
I like how they laid out the electrical stuff to look like a V8 though
I love Daytona coupes.
Seriously though 100 miles? I'd be willing to bet a GRM Forum project based on an FFR type 65 would get better range and cots a tenth of that.
They could gave at least made it compatible with Tesla's supercharging stations for over half a million.
Tesla's supercharger stations are actually proprietary. There are more common open-standard charging stations that are just as good.

Not anymore they released the specs a while back to increase usage.

Huh? What does an uber-expensive toy have to do with the average family? And given that most families have multiple cars, what's wrong with one having limited range? Even if you are a one car family, it might make economic sense to rent for your road trips - or not. Why should a niche product be judged by mass-market criteria? Why doesn't the Shelby have a usable trunk? (rolleyes)
And why do I let this bother me? Because there's one hour left in my work week, and being indignant on the internet beats working.!!!!
