Newish member, 4x challenger

Hi guys, I just wanted to introduce myself formally i guess. My name's David, i've been to the last 4 $200X challenges. for 06, 07 and (reluctantly) 09 i brought the white motorsport flag motifed e30 325is, and in 08 i came with my friend on here Pseudosport and his red hardtopped turbo miata.

I drive a lachssilber e30 M3 for summer, autoX, hdpe, an 06 Trailblazer SS daily, towing, winter, and autocross the crap out of the challenge e30. and i'm parting out a rusty 88 XJ cherokee if anybody needs something....

I know ive hung out with a lot of you at the challenges and i've figured out who some of you are, but if youve been to the challenge in the last 4 years i'd love to know your name and what car you brought for reference. Thanks guys!

2009 - Jonathan Dixon - Orange 1992 VW GTI

Will be back this year in a Yellow 1984 Honda CRX

2006 - the brown guy Sean - red/silver CRX

Hoping to be back this year with another CRX.

Was that the one that got rollerbladed into? I can't remember if it had a hardtop or not. But I also stay pretty drunk.

sure is. hardtop was on and off all weekend, i mean hell its a roadster in florida!

mike here. and my friend jeff and i brought the last-minute-gotta-get-something-to-replace-the-fiat-entry-that-almost-made-it, butt ugly, flat black, bmw e30. we will be bringing the fiat this year.

About time Dave! How is the new project going? Do you think we’ll actually make it there with the new... vehicles this year? I already have the time off from work and a new tow rig lined up.

I think I know you. Has the Trailblazer SS shot any women's hair out of the exhaust lately? Nice to see you on the board!

Oh, and I'll be riding shotgun in Pseudosport's new tow rig, and hopefully we won't have to replace the brakes 3 times on the way down this year, LOL.

Mine's Al, I had the Harlequin Audi in '07, the Bumblebee Audi in '08, and I was that guy with the white Fiat 500 in '09. Which by the way will be making a return trip this year with a totally new drivetrain that will be operational.

Anthony. I'd be able to bring a car if it were a $210 Challenge maybe. I was there with Matt and Les. They had a Talon in 08, and a Laser and RX-7 last year.

Hello David, I am new on these forums too. Since I have not been down to the challenge in about a decade, we have probably never met...

There is a pretty good chance we will meet though, since the season starts soon and I need the practice in my 2010 car. I will keep an eye out for the e30 at the auto-x's; it should be easy to spot. I'm driving a black saab 9k, be sure to say hello if you see me out there killing cones...
