Nissan Altima bingo

Given how many of these I've been able to check off just seeing Altimas driving around, it seems pretty accurate. Working in a shop, you'd probably be able to play numerous rounds per day.

In fairness, this was oriented toward a shop setting. With a few modifications, such as you suggest, it would be perfectly suited to road-going Altima bingo.

I once made a Depeche Mode bingo card. My favorite: Dude at the wrong show.

There was a guy in full hockey regalia with this “How did I get here?” look on his face. 

1/2 smashed windshield would fit on there too.

Here in Atlanta, they are everywhere.  I can't remember the last time I saw one that didn't have something on that list.

I'm always curious why it was specifically the Altima.  Why not the Malibu or the Focus or the Mirage?

The Mirage also lacks the power to do REALLY stupid E36 M3, and (supposedly) the Nissan CVT, when it begins to die, requires you to rev the engine heavily to get it to move the car which it does with a lurch.

The Altima meme doesn't play out in my area. I mean, I have seen one or two that fit the stereotype but no more than any other vehicle by volume. 

I have been trying to figure out what the Willamette Valley equivalent is. I think it is either a late 90's Honda Accord, a second gen Ram, or a 2010 GMC Terrain. There seems to always be at least one of each at every sketchy convenience store, vape shop, low end weed shop.

Same reason you see so many E36 M3heads in Chargers. High power, low cost, financing for anything breathing.

Yes, I agree.  However, at least near me most of them aren't new-ish.  They're roughly 2005-2010.  Buy here pay here I suppose.

The odd thing is that BHPH lots will give financing to anyone.  So for people buying used I would expect them to be equally likely to drive any 10-15 year old make.

I guess the Altima just hit that depreciation sweet spot making it more attractive on those lots?
