My daughter sold her 06 Solara convertible in like one day. She's been looking of a replacement and is asking about an 06 Murano. Anybody know much about these, especially reliability wise? She lives 6 hours away so hleping get something fixed isn't easy. I know it has the CVT that was improved with the second edition. Mileage only so so (23ish).
My wife drives an '07 Murano SL and absolutely loves it. Her only complaint is no 3rd row available.
Gas mileage averages around 20mpg so it's not that great but I've learned to deal with it.
A lot of people in our family drive Toyota Highlanders and the Murano is world's more fun to drive. It's actually a nice vehicle to drive when I have to drive it.
We bought ours CPO with 15,000 miles on it. We now have about 52,000 miles and it has been very reliable.
We got a letter from Nissan a few months ago stating that the CVT warranty has been extended to 110,000 miles or 10 years or something like that so it doesn't concern me.
