Looking for some racer feedback on the Nitto NT 01. Running vintage road racing so options are limited. Wondering how these would compare to Toyo RA1 or Kumho Victoracers for lap times. Any notes from experience appreciated.
Looking for some racer feedback on the Nitto NT 01. Running vintage road racing so options are limited. Wondering how these would compare to Toyo RA1 or Kumho Victoracers for lap times. Any notes from experience appreciated.
Should find them very similar to RA1, and slower than the Victoracers (at least I remember Victos being faster than RA1s). They are also similar in lifespan to the RA1s (heatcycles and tread wear).
A little quicker initially than an RA-1 but about even once the RA runs down to a slick. They behave very similar too - in fact you would be hard pressed to tell them apart from in the car.
I last ran Victoracers 4yrs ago so I can't really comment on those.
I think they're all about the same in terms of performance, and you're right, it's hard to tell the difference between the RA1 and the NT01, especially when both are at 2-3/32.
