i am posting at 6am. if i was one of the cool kids, i'd be winding down my all-night buzz and getting host hotel pool water all over my laptop. alas, i am not one of the cool kids this year, so i'm getting ready for work instead. :-(

If you don't have a P with the 3 S's (though in fairness I cut out one S a year ago) you probably have issues.

Yep, lame E36 M3. 6am today I got up to got to work. 6am last year I think poop and I were stumbling out of the hot tub on our way to the Waffle House. I'm beyond jealous right now.

You convinced me that I needed an older S500 that night. The next day (water pump belt failure, catastrophic suspension failure) not so much. I remember leaving for WH. I do not remember being there.

Friday night is my favorite. That first cocktail by the pool, all worn out and sunburned, bench-racing "What kind of 1/4 mile time do you think (x) will run?" Wish I could be there tonight. Gotta spend one more night with baby. I think 2 nights away would kill me.

Thursday night, one of us always hits it too hard and has to be carted off. Saturday night there's too many amateurs till 1AM or so. Someone always gets hurt.

But Friday night...Friday night is just right.

first couple years i was sad but it was a stretch of a dream. now every year since then i just get upset and frustrated that i cannot go. been missing challenges for what 8 years.
