I need help in locating vehicles for a CARB certification at a gas station in the Sacramento area. I work for a company that makes fueling equipment and I have been task with rounding up 100 cars 1965-2005 (I have a specific list)
If this not ok to post I understand. Just have been given a BIG challenge and thought I'd reach out to fellow car folks that might own older cars.
I have worked for this company for 14 years and manage the field projects. CARB stands for California Air Resources Board they govern what can be sold and installed at gas stations in addition to parts for our cars.
PM me if you can help, not a commercial thing just really need help.
Best Regards
Gregg Marshel
Might help if you post the list of cars you're looking for and can give more specifics as to what you're looking to do with them (e.g. how long do you need the car for? Are you looking to purchase or "borrow"? What benefit is there to me if I bring you my car?)

I've been challenged in getting people to help. Part of the certification process in CA is the CARB staff monitors the efficiency of the Nozzle during a refueling event. They have a specific list (above) we as a manufacturer are task with having these vehicles at a gas station for them. Again I don't want to trigger the spam or bs filter. I am a huge car guy and subscribe to both GRM and Classic. There is a positive to helping with this. A certain amount of fuel would be no cost. Again looking to help fellow enthusiast, no bs this a legitimate test I can provide what ever info you may want. I taking a car guy approach to solving a problem
Borrow as in you come to a gas station.

Sorry on the list, I'm struggling... it looks right before I post then it looks odd? There is a link on CARB's website can I link to it or? Is it ok to post a e-mail address on here?
Thanks,
Gregg

Think FREE gas (no BS,etc.) Bring a car from the list and get fuel. No persoal info needed, no anything. We as a company have had to do this every time we get something certified. It is a huge undertaking trying to get the "right cars there" I realy need help and am not sure how to make it clear that there is no catch, no hidden agenda.
The location is in a good part of town right off the freeway (I5) There is the hassle factor of being there within the window June 10-14 8AM-3PM. If any one has any suggestions I'm open
Thanks

Any thoughts here? I need help in gathering cars for this. I have 3 weeks to locate 100 cars have them at the site at a specific time. I am well aware people are slow to trust free anything, I am myself. But I need to know what someone needs to trust this?? I can provide buisness info, info from CARB?
Any not for profits in the Stockton area, church's, etc. Anyone in this area with suggestions?
Thanks
Gregg
Craigslist? I'd bring my cars if I was closer
I'd use instagram/twitter/facebook. Find a popular page in the area and post. Free gas as long as you have one of these cars, no strings. Would spread quick.
