Haven't seen this posted here. Has anyone ever attempted more than two turbos at the challenge?

Lame. It needs to be twin-engined with eight turbos. It would be Octo-turb. Or Octo-turd depending on how it ran. The fellow was so apologetic I'm just glad Japanese society did away with hari-kiri. And the car. Judging by the video. You don't steer car. Car steer you. That's the second time I've seen that Aussie fellow lately. The other time was revealing an abandoned Blair Witch style Supra in a gorge.

Jet engine powered rear wing for downforce! Sorry, the car was a kludge and all the driver did was apologize for the fact that it did not work.

And what is with the scrapyard/car lot at the start of the vid? It's like the elephant's graveyard of drift cars and whacko JDM-Bro-mobiles.

I really don't understand how the 2nd hand controlled throttle is supposed to work. I can however see that it doesn't.

I respect anybody for hard work, devotion to a project (even after failures), and humbleness.

I respect him more than 99% of the drag strip guys I've met. Very humble even when the project didn't work, he accepted criticism and vowed to do better next time instead of making excuses or threatening this or that to the critic.

I like it. Sure, a well driven Miata is probably faster but that kind of insanity should be celebrated.
