I don't think there's a point to the MGB project, and that's kind of the point. I got the feeling it was just something they wanted to build. Like most projects, it started as a "Wouldn't it be cool if..." except these guys actually followed through and started building something undeniably unique, even if it's not a systems engineering masterpiece.
