I got the November issue in the mail just before leaving to get the kids. I'm sitting in the car rider line reading it and it's awesome. Between Tom sanding drywall (and admitting that he didn't do as well as he wanted) and Carl explaining intakes and the ramp truck getting the power I want for my wagon, fantastic issue. Good job guys.

I never knew 99% of that stuff about the delta wing. I was on the fence about it, now I'm a fan.
what is up with the garage thing? is this a motorsports magazine or a home improvement thing?
Just messin' love it every month.
I like it. Helps me.
Also, thanks for my first time in say what?!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for all the positive feedback.
Fun fact: whenever I write a garage installment, I put a sticky note on my monitor that says "We are NOT a carpentry magazine." It's easy to get caught up in the nuts and bolts of building construction, then end up with a 4,000 word novel.
Isn't that DeltaWing article fascinating?
Betty made her 3rd appearance in a GRM family mag only with my picture this time so of course I was happy.
I also really loved the article on the Roadster Shop Camaro. That was always my favorite early gen of Camaro and that one is so over the top.

4000 words about building a garage? I can't even imagine.
I haven't E36 M3 yet today but the cover looks promising.

Then get off the pot!
I have to agree that I have enjoyed the issue so far, and really liked the in-depth look at the deltawing. I really could have used the gv overdrive in my FE powered torino, instead we replaced the 3:90s with 2:70s. Thanks to instaneous torque it was not too much of a problem, and allowed me to drive it to work on nice days while getting double digit gas mileage if I played nice with the throttle.
Loved the deltawing article. I'd like to see more of that kind of coverage!
Man, I haven't seen this issue yet. Now I can't wait. I know enough about the Deltawing to know I want to know more.
Thanks for the kind words about the intake story. I've just started using a flowbench and I love it. Those of you know me, know I love to measure things. I've got thousands of dyno pulls on file, a book full of corner weights from lots of cars and parts, chassis dimensions from lots of cars, and now I've got flow bench data to add to my book of weights and measures.
By the way, Tom, Tim and I were at the Runoffs with Steven Cole Smith a couple of weeks ago and we were talking about the Deltawing story at dinner. Of course there's even more to the story than the story and it was great to hear more from Steven.

I liked the delta wing article as well.
I am totally jealous of Tommy's garage...
Thanks for the feedback, and glad to hear that you're enjoying the issue. We have a great crew (and great readers, too, of course).

When he's not looking I put one up that says "Write more like JG." Then I go to his computer when he isn't looking and steal all those files. I hardly do anything anymore. Mostly just drive Hot Wheels cars around my desk.
And, yeah, if any of our stories ever get optioned for a feature film, that Deltawing story could do it. I'd see the hell out of that.
Would you guys watch the Live show if we could get the Deltawing in the Studio one day?

Definitely a must read - lots of details of that story I'd never heard of.
And it included yet another reason why Nissan never should have aired their "Cat's in the Cradle" Super Bowl ad.

Glad you liked the Camaro story! That car is truly something special. Not only is it one of the most beautiful Camaros in existence, it backs it up on the track.

I've only looked at the cover and read "Say What?" so far. I will be away from home for 3 1/2 weeks for work and am saving the new issue to take with me. I was interested in the delta wing article before reading this thread, now it is hard for me to resist. I may end up reading the issue before I leave.

Agreed. That thing was breathtaking when I first saw it roll through the tech line at the UTCC. And it totally is as fast as it looks.
