Rusty fenders, rockers, rear quarters, floors, partial frame rail, door bottoms, door skins, hatch, and bumpers need rechroming...........Wrong year, wrong carbs, right car........I might have to walk away.......or will I??????
Maybe I should review Lesson #3 again.
Help!
IF... that were nearer, and I didn't already have so many projects, I would probably foolishly bring it home.

Come on, 500.00 for my favorite classic car!!?? All the rust problems are well known and replacement patches are available. Got a Mig? The engine is simple and basic, and not running is "Probably" a simple thing. If not, the engine swaps capability of that chassis are incredible. I had one with a SBC and the plugs were right out in the open. Don't be a wuss. I'm in SoFla or would be there with a sharp pointy thing to keep you away.

LOL
The guy selling it even admitted that if he was going to restore one, he would get a west coast or Texas car, but he wouldn't restore this one. And he has owned it over 20 years.
The midwestern salt does wicked things to old Datsuns.
My point is I try to follow the advice of GRM and they say to stay away..............
