Apparently the track's safety will finally be upgraded, however this includes changing the flugplatz area.
It always seemed real suspicious to me that they imposed the limits and banned record-setting almost immediately after the 918 set the new record. Always wondered if Porsche money was involved there.

That would have to be a mighty big bribe to make up for all the money they'd lose from other manufacturers.

I bet Porsche has enough sway with the German government, and puts in enough track time, to make it equitable if they wanted to.

No it didn't, I mean wouldn't Management is currently incredibly cash strapped. Which is terrible on their end and fixing the ring financially is actually an incredibly easy proposition
