Well at least he used a Convertible for that, so you know when you have the top down you can get soot in your passengers face . I like the idea, just not the exhaust, hole in the hood, or the lime green engine bay(unless he plans on painting the car lime green to match).

Wow, that's exactly what I thought.
That car should be fairly fast. At least the torque will make it feel fast. I hope someone told him he probably needs some subframe reinforcement with a convertible and heavy torque numbers. That exhaust routing is just silly.
No one remembers High School USA with Michael J Fox? (Except JXF001) A bus-engined car can beat a Porsche!
its kinda cool but i'd rather do a 6bt into a 60's - 70's big bodied american car, something that was a long shot from being sporty

Guessing that wasn't a prerequisite in this build.
Not trying to be a jerk but I'd have skipped right over this if it was an LSx. Nothing about this car is what I would've done but so what? It's interesting and that's good enough for me!

This.
I've been dreaming of an old 6BT Landcruiser for a long time

They shake, don't rev and sound like crap. That is not fun to me.

I'm 99% sure that it is.

I know of at least 3 local to me still on KA's.
In reply to 93EXCivic:
When you make over 600 ft lbs of torque to the wheels at 1800 RPM like my old 12v did, with minimal mods, you don't need to rev to the moon "it's not a bug it's a feature" . I also love how mine sounded with aftermarket exhaust, but it was a shaker. To each there own though.

My buddy still owns my old 240 and it still has the KA motor. Oddly enough that car is down in Florida now.
Honestly I find this swap silly and the way it was done is terrible just from the exhaust stand point alone. I don't see this engine adding any fun factor to the car and it sound like well an old delivery truck now.
For a well done diesel swap into a car take a look at the Duramax GNX clone. That was a thing of beauty.
With the motor they chose I would have been more impressed with it going into a small truck or SUV. That engine has little value in a sporty car that will get twisted in half because of the torque.
