Yeah, you probably think the Juke is better looking...
The problem with these tribute jags is the price tag. When the E type came out, it was faster than the competition and cost way less. A proper tribute to this car should not cost so berkleying much. Then maybe I'd get to see one on the road some day. Prolly just as well, if I did see one of those beasts on the road I'd prolly drive off it moments later.

I agree. That's why I mentioned a Factory Five-type car that might be built on a C-4 chassis. Thinking that could be done relatively inexpensively. Make me wish I had the skills to do it, as I think E-types are one of the most beautiful automotive designs ever.

Well, they did sport a GM V8, so I guess youre at least partially correct

+1. It is pointless to try to "improve" the E-Type.
I would think that the side vents would be functional. Air ducted out the side instead of building up under the hood will eliminate or greatly reduce lift.
I think that both the coupe and the Eagle roadster are gorgeous. I am partial to the roadster. I would build it with a space frame and C5 or C6 suspension and drivetrain not C4. The C5 and C6 suspension design is far superior to the C4. I have built a few one off cars with C4 and with C5 parts. The difference is night and day.
