The latest package from Rock Auto to arrive on our doorstep contained an order of brake parts for my wife's '68 Camaro. (No, you cannot have her...or my wife ) When I opened the box and found the ubiquitous refrigerator magnet in the bottom, guess what kind of car was on it?
A Mustang.
What? They send magnets? I didn't get a magnet. pouts

Yes you did but you tossed them out with the paper packing.

I have gotten shipments missing the magnet before. It's a major letdown, i seriously look forward to those things. I have about 16-20 but there's a LOT of room left on the side of my fridge so i'm not really happy with that number right now.
I can solve this mystery. My most recent Rockauto order was delivered a couple weeks ago (power window regulator with motor). In the box were three (3!) refrigerator magnets. So, if you didn't get one, I got yours!

I've never gotten a magnet from them
I think I got the same Mustang one with my Barracuda order so you are not the only one.
I have a row of them extending from the top of the refrigerator door to the bottom with no duplicates!
Duplicates I stick to my tool box in the garage!
I have a few...... some of these I can't understand though.... for example I have "Tony's Cobra"....... I wonder what exactly did Tony buy to make it "built with RockAuto parts"

In the box? Everything's still in the garage, guess I'll go double check.

RockAuto magnets are the best - and they actually put my Miata on one a while back which was awesome. A buddy of mine ordered some parts a few weeks ago and got a magnet of my car haha.

I do the opposite, they are on my toolbox with the duplicates on the fridge.
As for those saying they didn't get any, check the little pouch with the packing slip on the outside of the box, they sometimes end up in there.

If it makes you feel better, it seems like every time I get an order of mustang parts, they send a magnet with a Ferrari on it.
Wait, free magnets?
Time to start ordering from them.

I got one with a Ferrari 308 on it. My order was for a '97 Celica ST. I think they were rubbing it in my face that I don't have a Ferrari.
Sometimes if I place a big order that comes from multiple warehouses, I'l only get one magnet out of all 2 or 3 boxes. But I always get at least one per order. We have them everywhere- on the fridge, in my toolbox, stuck to metal light switch covers in my office, and a couple stuck to metal parts of my cars' interiors. The problem is, they are very cheap magnets, so if you don't keep them in a reasonably climate-controlled environment the picture will peel off of the magnet.
If you want to jump-start your collection, there's always THIS.

Same here. I don't even keep all of them anymore. Only if it's a car that interests me. I got a Rockauto shipment yesterday, but haven't opened the box yet.
A funny one was when I ordered a starter for my GT6 last year and the magnet was of a yellow TR7 owned by a guy I did the American British Reliability Run with last year, so it was a car I'd actually seen in person.

I think I have all of them.
I once got a whole stack of magnets - like 20-25, all of the same car.
Somebody on the packing line got a little frustrated with peeling just one off the stack that day.
