Not mine. A two door hatch with turbo and awd. Sweet.

The guy who owns it is on the Yahoo GTX list. If someone buys it, I highly recommend joining the group - terrific people with a wealth of knowledge.

The idea of a 2-door hatch with awd gets me giddy. I'm cautious because I'm not much of a mechanic and I'd say parts are getting hard to find? I wasn't for sure if these cars are reliable or require alot of attention. Still trying to sell the Crx.
I bought mine in '04 with 96k on it... once it had a tune-up and new timing belt, it became dead reliable. I drove it from NC to Florida for the '06, '07 and '08 Challenges with no concerns except a little overheating on the drive back to NC in '08 when the thermostat started sticking.
Parts aren't as hard to find as you think. A lot can be taken from other cars, and there are plenty of options for substitutions for anything really rare except the pistons to my (somewhat limited) knowledge. With maintenance and TLC, it's a ridiculously, stupidly fun car! And, as I said before, the guys on the list are a terrific source of information and help. I have a bunch coming over to a warehouse space in Oakland to help me with my $2010 Challenge GTX.
I am, of course, completely biased, but I love the car so damn much I got a second, and already working on a friend to buy his in a few months. :D
I've had mine for 2 weeks now... and love it. It reminds me so much of my 91 civic si... just with full factory power options... awd... and turbo. You know... a few fun things.
Hoping to also bring it to 2010 challenge this year.
In reply to splitime:
Ah, the EF's. I've had three. Gotta stock Si crx for sale. I'm still tracking an all original 91 Si. I like the hatchbacks better than the crx's, a little more room. Maybe I should just stick with what I know.

HA! GTX-off!
Kevin Boswell won't be going this year, but his Mercury Tracer with the GTX AWD grafted in will be. If Paul Fenner brings his GTX, we'll all have to pose for a family photo. :D
Hey, neat!
Just as I typed that my 323 GTX came up in the rotation on the left sidebar!
Maybe that's an omen...

Sounds like a plan :) I need to part out this spare capri motor that came with it and get the wheels on it sold so I can afford smaller wheels/tires an any other random bit that comes up.
Supposedly my car is really setup autox wise... but on stock turbo I don't hold any hopes for the drags. And not much for concourse either... midwest got ahold of the corners of this car :p
Regardless..... I imagine it'll be fun out there :)

You bet that's an omen, buddy! I better see that GTX pounding some pavement in Gainesville. :D
polishes her "I Got Beat by a Yugo" pin and ponders "I Got Thrashed by Team GTwreX" pins
Wow, you are relentless! I wish I could get my wife to pursue me like this!
OK, OK, I'll look hard at the car when I get back in town tomorrow. Geeesh!
Hey, hang on to that Yugo button... never know WHAT they'll be worth someday!
That's the one I wanted so badly my freshman year of college--yeah, it was brand-new then. At the time, though, all I could afford were Chuck Taylors.

You know I'm a woman with only one thing on my mind. GTXes! :D
I better see your white GTX out there in October. You won't like me when I'm angry - I might act like a normal woman and pout at you or something. Don't make this lower lip quiver, fella!
Hey, hang on to that Yugo button... never know WHAT they'll be worth someday!
I'll have you know that my Yugo button is one of my most prized possessions - right up there with my "Worst Bowler" and "Most Gutterballs" trophies from my last foray into bowling...
