That Pug has been on eBay off and on for a couple weeks. I have a good feeling that the guy will take between $1200 and $1500. I'm tempted.

Interesting. I have never been there but it looks like it could be a lot of fun.

Hangover nationals!!! gonna try and make it this year.
Here is the forecast for tomorrow. How does that affect your decision?

Gates Open At 11 AM • Eliminations Begin At 2:30 PM

Maybe not perfect weather (especially since it has been very nice lately) but still sounds like fun.
I have nothing to run but it sounds like a fun way to spend the day. Anytime. I will bring a buddy with me.
What the hell, it's only 24 minutes away. I'll be there. I wish I could bring the 996 Turbo!
See ya'll tomorrow.
I just finished some projects around the house (de-christmas decorating) and think I will head out soon to get there right before they start running.
I will drive my e30 and have on a GRM hat. Since it will likely rain, I will be in a heavy sailboat racing foul weather jacket.

PS:I will have a smart phone with me and can pull updates from here.
I hope all feel better soon. Here, my wife was dealing w/ Strep on Christmas Eve. We changed some plans and stayed home on The Eve and went light on The Day activities. A couple of days later I went to bed at 3 in the afternoon not felling well. All better now and hope y'all are too.
I would never have believed that the first 300' of that track could be so SLICK just from being wet.
anybody wreck? i always have money on some dong in a cummins ram with his tuner on overpowered losing traction and heading straight into the wall.
An S10 looped it about where the concession stand is. He was in the right lane and crossed center, fortunately the other truck was well ahead of him so all he had to avoid was wall, which he did. Then he looped it again trying to turn the truck around.
I've driven on ice that had more grip than the first 300 feet. The rest of the track wasn't much better - I got squirrelly in the shutdown lanes by downshifting to 4th at 60mph.
Early in the brackets, a guy in an STi just said "f it" and went for a run. It was mid 15's at over 100mph. The announcer joked that they weren't doing 100 MPH Club trials today
Wanted to be there but felt like E36 M3 all afternoon yesterday and did a whole lot of nothing today, at least I feel better now.
Wish I had been able, but the Mustang would have been a handful from what I'm hearing.
I had talked about going yesterday, Sunday with my B-I-L who was visiting from Atlanta but the schedule did not work out. I think I may go this week on Tuesday afternoon (tomorrow.)
For years when I worked in the Detroit area, I would typically cut the day short on Tuesday and arrive about 2:00 and get out about 6:00. There sort of seems to be a mid-day lull in attendance and about the time I would be leaving the "afterwork" crowds would be showing up. I would often go alone and move through the crowds easily, seeing what I want.
If there is a gathering, let me know and I can alter plans as needed or join me Tues.
