I need to pay closer attention, looks like I missed a good time.
Just want to say again what an awesome guy dculberson is. A few days after buying the ls400 I got an envelope in the mail containing a mess of reciepts for work he'd done on the car.
Ive put about 200 miles on the car so far and if anything it's in better condition than advertised. The only thing that scares me is the looming need to fill the gas tank! Also found the original window sticker in the glove box. $500 puts it at about 99% depreciation over 20 years.
Awesome, it's great when it works out for all involved.
Can't wait to check it out.

It does not have to be a LS400.
I would accept a $500 GS400/300 as well, just so you know.

Probably not a bad idea, my oldest son is the right age to appreciate it these days.

Is anybody headed to the Mitty this year? I live in Xenia(southwest oh) I plan to go down on the 26th. A caravan down would be great.

I'm right next door in Dayton but going nowhere soon. We've got a pretty good local contingent here.
I'm thinking about doing the Mitty, but nothing definite yet.
The Mitty is a great time, ask Steve. My buddy Dean and I have been drinking with him the last to years. Not to metion touring laps around road atlanta in odd vehicles. The 1st year was an '02 ford f250 7.3 turbo diesel and last year was an '04 honda odyssey van at 85 mph. the honda was really surprising. this year I'm trying to get my BMW 2002 ready to go. can't wait, what a car fest.
I will be Mitty bound, though, perhaps not on the motorcycle this year. Maybe the Porsche?
I am going to try and make it to the Mitty this year. I hope to be able to get my 9 year old out of school for a day and head down but we will see what happens.

That would be the Duke and I. We can't afford to take that many days off. Leaving Friday night after work and coming back Sunday afternoon.
I too am interested in this short version. I could donate a Mazda 5 or the Inlaws Chrysler Town & Country to the cause if needed.
