1939 dodge business coupe on 74 gmc frame. truck was a military issue. Has dana 44 front and 14 bolt rear with 4.56 gears. front axle is welded. Need motor. 4 speed tranny, 10" of lift with 4-link rear suspension. Setup for BBC or SBC.

Saturn 1.9 engines are cheap, and stupid simple to work on too.
Why would someone weld the front diff? I guess turning in 4wd is overrated

4WD with open diffs still gets you only 2 locked wheels.
