That sounds like the Lotus Europa yahoo group. I've also noticed how many members there list 2 or more of the cars in their signatures. I'm not sure how many like the cars to the point of owning multiple running/driving examples vs. those who have parts-cars.
Also SCCA had the series that used the LeCar too. One of the local guys has one he built for FSP and ran Nationals with it a few time.

That may be what I was thinking of. I remember seeing a full field of LeCars at my first SCCA event. I also remember seeing a few Encore racers, but I may be imagining a whole series of them.
The Archer Brothers were the hot-shoes in the various SCCA series that featured Renaults. They had a killer Alliance.....plus those guys could drive (still can).
I rented a SportsRenault two years ago from Entropy Racing (for the EMRA 4-Hour at Summit Point). Neat little race car!

And in 1980 I dated a girl who was an actual swim suit model who had a red Fiat 124 spyder. I can remember the most intimate details of the the underside of the car, but nearly nothing of the girl. Sad, really.
My parents bought an Alliance right before I was born. It was a 1.4 with the stick shift. They loved it and only sold it when it came time to make room for my sister.

You just know what is important and lasting in life, and swimsuit models have a shorter career than a Renault.
To bump this thread, I just saw a gta convertible that MUST have been restored it was so clean. This was outside Edmonton on the yellowhead. Ran good it seemed!
