My E28 needs a new windshield. I'll also likely need a new rubber seal. The big name windscreen repair company quoted me $600 for said seal .

Can anybody recommend a source for a new seal, that ships internationally. I've heard Pelican Parts is an option, but I'm not having any luck finding the part on their website, only the external chrome moulding piece.

Thanks all

Maximillian Importing ( bmwmobiletradition-online.com ) lists the OEM seal for 129.30 and the glass for 191.61.

Might try here as well. I've never used them myself.

Lately, getbmwparts.com (Tischer BMW in Silver Spring, MD) has been getting good reviews for their pricing.

Don't forget you can always call these places if you can't find parts on their website, the e28 is old enough they won't necessarily have everything listed.

I look up OEM #s at realoem.com, then google the part number to see what pops up. I generally get everything from Tischer who conveniently are located on the way home from work.

The give a pretty hefty discount (10 or 15%) for BMW-CCA membership. My membership has paid for itself in parts discounts every year so far.

Try blunttech. (blunttech.com?) I've had good dealings with them.

Yes, Steve at BluntTech Industries. He's a true enthusiast (check ou his S14 2002 build) and an awesome guy to work with.

Great prices and quick shipping. He is who I use for all my E30 parts now. And many of the parts on my previous S52 E30.
