I'm stupid for old SAABs (all caps. Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget). I have one like that sitting in my driveway. It is an early model with the low windshield and mirror on the dash.
I want to widen one by about a foot, then add flares and build my usernamesake: the Monster Toad. It would be a RWD hillclimb/autox/sunny day terror with C5 vette underpinnings and drivetrain. The torque tube and drive shaft would have to be shortened 6 inches or so. It would have a larger bore LS/Vortec with a 4.8 rotating assembly, for high revving goodness.
