Soft 8 steelies on a 454SS.
Wish I had pics, but I came across an olive drab Z3 (or maybe it was a Z4) with a tan top and black steelies in Murfreesboro, TN. It was certainly different.

Wanted to put stock car rims on my Colorado, but found Extremes for the right price.

I must admit, I have considered cars before on the basis of how they would look with a set of Crager D windows. I would particularly like a slammed, ls swapped square body S-10 around them.
Anyways, carry on...
The best looking wheels you can get on a brand new F150 right now are their gray steels. They look really good on the Expy too but you have to find a police package to get them on the SUV.
I think the move to wider hub centers and the resulting low dish wheels has ruined Wheel aesthetics. The thing I love about big steelies is the deep dish.
God bless steelies. And white letter tires. And longbeds.
do chrome steelies count? I really wanted to go this route in 15x8/15x10....but the white wagon wheels are so damn cheap.
I've waited for this thread my entire life. It saddens me that I have nothing meaningful to contribute. Carry on.

Ah come on, some satin black paint with chrome baby moons and glamour rings would make that awesome. Clean up the white walls or white letter tires would be even moar awesome. Mo'better yet is deep dish satin black steelies with the baby moons and glamour rings. Always liked that look.
