If I had a SWMBO, this is the kind of thing that would get me in trouble with her
Strange, I would think a WRX would be a great family car. Much better than my cars... I have a choice between a tiny, miata-based gas guzzler (RX8) or a gigantic, carbon monoxide spewing, safety feature-lacking gas guzzler (80's Econoline).
At least a WRX has a nearly human sized rear seat and what you might call trunk space...
Written in a way that says, "T'hell with you, wife! I ain't sellin' it!" Written for plausible deniability.
Funny stuff. I see ads that I suspect serve the same purpose, but do so very subtly. This one is throwing it right in her face. Maybe she doesn't use the internet.
Here is the link to the actual ad for those who want to see the close up picture of one of the dents.
In reply to carbon:
Do yourself a favor and read the last paragraphs of the GRM Wiki.
It sort of serves as the GRM decoder ring.
I did almost the same thing with my S2000.
Purchased an '02 in '05 with only 14k miles on it and when it was time to sell per agreement with wife I listed it in '08 with 48k miles for $1,000 less than I paid for it.
Funny thing was after about 6 months someone actually offered $500 less then what I had it listed for so I had to take it.
i fail to see why a WRX won't baby though, safe, good in snow. Short of reliability and fuel efficency i don't see an issue for a family of 3.
Yep it's a big roomy sedan that's built like a tank and has AWD. You know what my family had when I was a kid? A Renault that broke down all the time and would pull sweet doriftus in snow no matter how much you didn't want it to, and a Tercel. Good thing the Tercel was rock-solid-reliable.
I have an 04 impreza, absolutely no problem having one with kids. (although, if I had it do get over again, I'd get a wagon)
