This one time, at band clamp, I stuck a tail pipe....
Unrelated to the V-Band question, but...
One time, on a HS Band trip into Canada en route to Montreal circa 1999, our bus was lumbering through the countryside when I saw an absolutely beautiful pea green 1969 Chevelle SS 396 sitting in front of a farmhouse for sale. It was only $500 Canadian!!!
It was in really nice shape, as if it had been stored for years in a dry barn and just rolled out front for sale. I bet it ran and drove.
I pleaded with the chaperones to let me stop and buy it (I had cash on me, superior-at-the-time American currency too) but alas, they said no. I thought about that Chevelle the entire trip. On the way back to MA a few days later, it was gone.

What size/ qty? I have a few I'm not using if thats all you need and size is right.

Oh, oh, I'm gonna be sick! Pull over now before I spew all over! (runs away from the bus, buys Chevelle, drives back to MA in style)
I've bought them on ebay for around $20 per set
