The thing that really shocked me is how much we liked everything we drove. I pulled the Telluride into an empty parking lot to change drivers and gave it a few tight turns. It just didn't feel like a 4000+ vehicle. Same with the Passport. Maybe it's because I'm used to having my teeth loosened driving around in a Miata with Xidas, but it seems to me that cars nowadays handle really well with a high level of comfort. There are so many good choices. I may regret not giving a GM with a modern V8 a chance, but the Volvo has plenty of punch for us.
