used to live in stillwater, so I've been to OKC many times... I don't think anyone I know was involved, but it makes you very aware of your mortality

Same here. We have family in the OKC area but as far as we know everyone is OK.

I have a good friend from OK. When I saw the TV at the restaurant last evening I immediately thought of her, and when I got home her Facebook page was overflowing with updates and news.

Tornado's scare the berkeley out of me.

This morning the number of fatalities has been upped to 91, they think as many as 40 were children inside one of the elementary schools hit.

^Wouldn't be a bad idea, the article I posted in the original thread has the I-44 OKC/Tulsa corridor named as one of the 8 most dangerous places to live.

I think it's a bit exaggerated, but we do get nasty weather pretty often.
