That's an NC which IS huge compared to an NA/NB.

When you start thinking NC's are big, the car dimensions aren't the problem anymore.

The size and 4wd of a Suzuki SX4 catches my interest. I've never driven one though.

The AE86, or AE92 Corolla sound like contenders to me.

My AE92 looks huge next to a Miata. Saw it just this morning.

My FB was dwarfed by a new Mini. I'd definitely consider one.

My point is that the Toyobaru Twins are small cars by any standard. You are splitting hairs or else you consider the NC Miata to be a large car.

I just found your comment of "Not in the same league" to be a bit too much hyperbole to ignore.

Uhhh, a NA is only 1.9 inches shorter in length than a NC (and 1.8 inches narrower and 0.8 inches shorter)....

No don't you dare bring your "specifications" into this. The NC miata is dumptruck sized compared to an NA miata. It's also soft and might as well be a Toyota avalon its so luxury oriented..

The mk3 Mr2 is truley great. It feels as small and light as a first gen but with more power and better handling. Turn in is epic on them. Very underated cars due to the storage compromises Toyota made.

Hmm definitely a car I would like to try out someday then. Building a budget elise would sound like a fun project

The Mk2 MR2 is definitely a small car, but despite its footprint, is ~500 pounds heavier than an NA Miata. So it's up to you to decide if that's too big.

I daily drive a Mk2 NA, and I really enjoy it.
