Not a kit car either.

Uh, yes, yes it is. Says "SuperPerformance" right on the windshield. They make kit ones out of South Africa.
In reply to Javelin:
My bad. You're right.
Here's another:

I didn't watch it with sound, but it looked the driver was not too familar with driving a stick. Not the best car to learn in.
Our blessed lady of acceleration can be a harsh teacher. Especially in a high hp, short wheelbase car!
There is a superperformance showroom not to far from me. I mentioned factory five and they were not amused.
The super performance cars are cool though. Of the cars they make I think the cobra is the least interesting. The gt40 or whatever it is, is pretty damn cool.

Compared to a real Cobra they are stupid-affordable. But yes, they are pricey.
haha
I'm sorry but I can't stop laughing who's the idiot who let her drive?? Yeah let's have her try out a short wheelbase, high bhp, rwd car to go with
There's so much fail in that video, I could kill someone.
To the person telling the driver "it's alright"....NO IT berkeleying ISN'T!
I thought it was a Cavalier she hit,and not an MX-6,but I may be wrong. I wonder if that was her car? My guess is it wasn't though.
Chris
At what point do you realize that perhaps you shouldn't be driving that car? When you can't find reverse and almost run over some people? No. When you find reverse and spin the tires trying to slowly back up? No. When you almost have a head-on collision after just pulling onto the street? No. When you completely lose control and hit a parked car? Well, I hope that got the point across.
Still the best comment

An I'm guessing that one really isn't a kit

I agree the hardtops are hideous... but I have to admit, if I had a Cobra replica, I'd probably get one so as to drive it more during non-convertible days.

Yes it is. It's just a car.
I was more concerned that fewer people were interested in her well being post-crash. There is a back story that we don't get over youtube - because of that I can't blame her 100%.
I believe that Kirkham makes a very nice hardtop.
I test drove both the Superformance Cobra and Coupe a few years ago. I'd rather have the Cobra.
i've seen that one before, happened here in houston on Alabama st. theres a little bar there i can't remember the name of, looks like where they were at.
