I was able to find a $80 off coupon for a Safelite windshield replacement after some quick Googling... they didn't bat an eye. I'd recommend you do the same!

Replaced the windshield on my wife's new Wrangler.
Broke the wiring for the radar cruise
Had to take it to the dealer to have it fixed
Turned into a "whole thing"
Requested a "comparable" loaner from them because of reasons and it taking them them 3 days to fix the radar cruise (note my wife's vehicle was a 3 month old Wrangler Rubicon with every single box checked on the option sheet, something dumb like 80k sticker)
Got a Charger that smelled like weed
They suck.
Good thru 12/31

I had them come out when I smushed the windshield in the A4 with an oil pressure gauge when I thought it was on fire... or whatever. Oh darn. Oopsie. Now I have to install roll cage gussets.
The tech went above and beyond. I won't publicize what they did on a web forum--you can probably guess. Maybe I got lucky because the technician was a VW guy, and the customer support person thought my ask was kind of cool. Long story short, if you're nice to people, even at big monolithic companies, they can do really cool things for you. They also did an excellent job--I can't tell it's not a brand-new Audi windshield.
Safelite repair, Safelite to race!

Ha, I just got the same e-mail and was about to share.
I used Safelite with great success. I'm sure there are some bad apples, but if you think about it, it's all they do. All day every day. Normally I'm not one for going with the big chains, but in this case, it makes sense. I have also used a local chain (about 5 locations) with great success as well, but it took much longer.
They did my Outback and did a good job.
I once had them try and do the Datsun but they basically had an issue with it being a race car. They wanted a new gasket (NLA) and the tech started to tell me the gasket was an integral part of the safety system.
The poor guy clearly didn't know old cars, no reflection on him or the company.
