I for one do not understand the fuss about these being unattractive. I think they are a fine looking car and special compared to most of the blobs sold today.
I owned a 1984 944 for a bit that was just shy of 200k miles. It showed it's age but had been highly maintained and never did I sit behind the wheel that it didn't make me smile.
You and I agree on one point for sure: I buy the seller as much as the vehicle. If they come across as knowledgeable and they "get it" I'm far more likely to hand over my money. Congratulations!
