Chasing this P0681 OBD code around on my 2004 Saab 9-3 Aero. It is proving to be remarkably difficult, in no small measure due to SAE.
In a nut shell, does anyone have access to SAE documentation relating to this code, above and beyond J1930 and J2012? I already have those, and they provide no real information. Some information might be in J831, but I currently do not have access to this document.
Additionally, does anyone have access to documentation of the values SAE has assigned to DTC codes? Specifically, the what and where for tripping a P0687, ECM/PCS Power Relay Control Circuit High" value. What is the control circuit, vs the sense circuit? where the voltage would be measured? and what value and time are required to trip this code?
