You might be happier w/ aftermarket sheetmetal/ parts than Pa JY parts. Pa winters are not very kind to 40 y/o vehicles. Aftermarket has about anything you need for Beetles. Check out CL and theSamba too for used stuff.

Joe's in New Ringgold used to have about a dozen+ of them. I haven't been there in over a year though. I may be down there on Wednesday, I'll report back...
Mid American motorwerks has jus about anything you could want to build and restore a classic bug, also good ole JC Whitney are your go to guys for most parts for the aircooled crowd in one place. Kinda pricey if you are going for a whole front clip but the parts are new.

Even a little bit rusty original that's unhit should be better than trying to line up the hood and fenders with aftermarket metal. I will go that route if I can't find a good donor but I want to try first. QFT dyes age with use and the saggy reproduction is not as good as original. Classic parts are a known quantity and much more reliable than aftermarket copies. Originals fit, aftermarkets are hard to hammer into shape
Finally got down to Joe's today, there are still about a dozen down in the bottom corner. We were there just before closing and was in a hurry so I didn't examine closely, but they are still there.
Don't know much about VW's but there is a place in Woosboro, MD that specilaizes in early VW's. When I ride by there I can see dozens of them in their lot.
Their service business that is located a mile or so away is called Mark I VW's. So I think they may be a good resource.
EDIT: A quote from their website
"We have over 125 Volkswagen parts cars. We call them Elves. End of Life Vehicles"
There's a place like Woodsboro here in Jacksonville, Fl. I even had a thread on here awhile back because I was tempted by 2 cars they had for sale: an early '80s Rabbit convert. and a late '80s Golf Cabrio. (The Rabbit 'vert sold, the Golf is still looking for a buyer.) But they also do a big business on air-cooled Beetles.
