I follow the Meadowdale International Raceway Preservation Association and they post vintage pictures all the time on their FB page.
This was from the one and only Trans Am race ever run at Meadowdale in 1968. I thought it was pretty cool.

May not be a Javelin, but this is still an awesome sight to see a '68 Firebird at the same race.
Also check out the box truck in the background. What the hell is the big barrel that says "Javelin"?

Looks like a cheater fuel rig - get it up high so the gas flows faster.
