Although I spent the money on nice under-x long underwear, it's too darned hot for out here. I went with a nice Bell multi-layer suit and wear a t-shirt and shorts under it. Plan to get a cool shirt soon.

It's cool, Joe..I've just noticed that the bigger the message boards get, the more canoes we attract. I'm looking forward to Tom's upgrade, sounds like he's trying to separate the wheat from the chaff for us. I don't mind posts from companies that actually have something to offer us, but some of the posts here lately that just say "Don't Forget" have links to Asian porn/counterfeit goods/religious cults, etc.
Not that I'm against Asian porn...it's just that when I want to see it, I can look it up elsewhere.
Who doesn't love Asian porn?! Although the Anime porn just creeps me out. 
We have been under attack of the Spambots lately, but the new site should help things a bit.
We always keep a close eye on what folks are saying on the forums. If there is a topic that one of our advertisers may be able to offer some useful advice (like K1) we let them know, and invite them to join in the conversation. Sometimes they are just lurking anyway, and they jump in. I love the fact that along with the impressive knowledge our board members have, we also have industry experts to call upon.
The bad canoes are quickly capsized!
The Advertiser Playground is for more direct messages from our advertisers, and a good place to find discounts / deals/ and recently launched products. Although many of the posts over there may be seen as "authorized" canoes, it is worth a look, as there are a bunch of deals, and free stuff to be had!
Love to see an online advertisers index, sort of like what you have in the magazine that shows what page ads are on, but instead put their web address.
I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to look up advertisers products, and I don't have the mag handy when near the computer. Google solves many of those problems, but sometimes remembering the correct name can throw a wrench into things. Plus if you link through grm, you can demonstrate how many hits they get that originate from here.....and that is one more tool to sell the value of your mag
