We are committed to the the northern route.  I am not a fan of I10 and now that the heat is cranking all is good.

This thing is super low.  Look at the charger next to us.

So incredibly jealous of this.  I have always wanted an NSX.  They were always said to be a sports car with supercar looks and honda accord reliability.  Maybe one day I'll luck out.  Also now I want wings!

Sexy car.  You make it through college station i have a restaurant and a garage spot with your name on it.   Epic trip though.

We got a good laugh out of the fact that the folks driving the NSX got excited about and took a picture of an old Honda on a uhaul trailer.  This is after countless people have waived and or taken pictures of our car...

That Honda is dope. You KNOW there's a story over a beer about it.

Good town square, representative of the ones in a lot of towns in the area.

I'm in Grapevine, north of the dfw airport if anything comes up.

If you continue on I-20 you'll pass south of most of the metroplex.

They had great brisket!  Grabbing some gas before hopefully avoiding the Dallas traffic as best we can.

Funny, 10 years ago I had trouble finding a room in west Texas (at 2:30am) because of the oil boom. Also thought I could squeeze through DFW. Nah, traffic still killed me. Good luck!

Stopped for dinner at Track One in El Paso Texas.  Apparently they have excellent wings.  I will find out shortly.

So how were the wings?  You left us hanging...

Hell yeah I love me some Beastie boys!  I was fortunate enough to see them in concert about 15 years ago, it was pretty epic!  They actually played quite a few of their instrumental songs.

Wings were decent, but not great.  The Mexican place in Arizona and the Texas BBQ joint were both on point however!

We were going to hit up a cajun place in Monroe but decided that we would rather grab something quick and get back on the road.  I personally would rather spend the 45 minutes we saved sleeping at this point...

Idk if you guys are planning on breakfast in the morning, or just hitting the road, but if you’re looking for food check out McElroy’s in Biloxi. It’s only a mile off I-110, so it’s not too far from I-10 either.

We stopped in Biloxi for the night.  Back up and on the road by 7:00 after a quick stop for coffee.

Car is doing great and has been averaging 27 MPG.  27 hours of driving have netted us 1700 miles for a 63 MPH average including stops for gas and food.  440 miles to go.

North Florida is better known as South Georgia. The warmth doesn't get guaranteed until you get to central Florida.
