The Pittsburgh Vintage is already on the Grassroots schedule but it's such a great event that I didn't want any of you within driving distance of Pittsburgh to miss it (it's a 8-hour pull for me). The entire event runs from July 10 through July 19 (see below)
I'm heading out tomorrow at 0-Dark-Thirty for the kick-off event at BeaveRun (July 10 to 12). Spridget #909 is already on the trailer and I've got spare axles, road food and sunscreen. All the "basics".
This event is the first part of a week-long+ event. The following weekend (July 18-19) is the amazing "street race" in Shenley Park in downtown Pittsburgh. Better than Monaco to my eyes and it's been going on since 1983 so it's now one of the longest running street races anywhere.

The event is used to support the Autism Society of Pittsburgh & Allegheny Valley School so it's a great cause too.
