We are working on a 1976 Porsche 914 2.0L that needs an exhaust. The J pipes are good, the heat exhangers are fine but the rear exhaust is damaged. The customer requests a stainless piece and the only one that I could find that looks correct is a M&K piece for a 914-6.
Will a 914-6 muffler fit on a 914 2.0L?
John
Pelican Part's 914-6 conversion page says use a 911 muffler, so I'm going to hazard a guess at 'no'.

I have his catalog on my desk. The Stainless pipe I can get from M&K will come out to the same price as the OEM style 75/76 unit from George, but we will need to weld the flanges ourself to be certain where the bolts are located.

Go with Pelican if you can, George would sell his own grandmother. Two of my friends worked for him and the stories they tell send shivers up the spine.
This is what we are ordering:

Ben has been awesome to deal with, anyone building a P-Car should look at his stuff, I can't yet say how the rest of the unit will look but I am pretty impressed with his pricing compared to a similar stock style 914 2.0 exhaust as well as the fact that he is willing to help us along with our unconventional special order.
