I can see that on some forums where you have to have XXX number of posts to start a new thread or post a photo, but does post count even matter here at GRM for the ability to actually do anything?

You know that.  I know that.  They probably don't know that.

Also, maybe, if you are going with a more subtle approach to injecting things into conversations, having more then a few posts (which can be easily checked) makes you a bit more legit.
