The 944 S2 started acting up all of a sudden. Showing 11V on the voltmeter and when you press the accelerator it bogs down and doesn't want to go. It's been running literally perfect until just now. I'm suspicious of the Bosch alternator from 2012. No FLAPS showing in stock and the local alternator shop in Edgewater is out of business...
My Porsche mechanic is down that way. Give me a min to find his contact info.
Aero Dynamics: 2430 S. Nova Road in Daytona Beach. Tell Lou that I sent you. (It's a mom and pop outfit.)
And if you just need an alternator shop in Daytona Beach, Doug Lenz Auto Electric.
And Lou is fluent in 944.
No news is good news, right?

Fixed!
Ended up being a bad battery, loose spark plugs with carbon buildup, and a loose positive cable. We also changed the oil and installed the correct wipers with the airfoils.
This is awesome news! hopefully the rest of the drive goes well. What's the planned route?
In reply to Robbie (Forum Supporter) :
Up through Atlanta to Deal's Gap, across Tennessee, Arkansas, and Oklahoma to Amarillo, turn northwest into Colorado and Black Canyon, Moab, up Salt Lake, Boise, then Columbia River Gorge.

Stop and say, "Hi," when going through Ogden, UT, depending on what day. We have a spare room if you want cheap, and there is a local B&B on the river if you want fancy.
