So I've replaced my brake light switch, but only the CHMSL and left brake light are illuminating. The fuses are good and the blinkers work, does the flasher module have anything to do with the brake lights?

Wow, I feel like an idiot now. I initially checked the far bulb, and both filaments were good. I then, after spending time googling and writing the initial post, went back to try and troubleshoot. It turns out that Ford wired these tail lights in series, and that the near bulb had the brake light filament burnt out. Yup. That happened. Now where's the facepalm smiley.

It's okay, we've all done dumb stuff! I rebuilt the carburetor in Gladys twice because it was out of gas.

That's the kind of thing that makes this place great.
I recently rebuilt the carb on my KLR and couldn't get it to start. BIL came over, turned the tank to the reserve switch and it fired right up. Yep, we have all done it.
I spent 15 minutes yanking the pull cord on my weedeater, followed by swearing and troubleshooting only to realize I never turned on the on/off switch.
